The Provider Portal is proprietary to Homewood Human Solutions ™ (HHS). It has been created for our Service Providers to input client service information directly and securely using an external interface to the HHS System.

In the Fall of 2012 Homewood Human Solutions instituted a new protocol whereby all client service information will be input directly and securely via computer with the highest level of commercial encryption available. Paper files will no longer be required to store client data. Please note that the only exception to this is that we require Service Providers to both keep the originally signed Informed Consent and any originally signed Release of Information forms, as well as to upload those into the Portal.
The core objective of the Provider Portal system is to give Service Providers access to necessary information (client and appointment information) and allow them to retrieve and submit client documentation and other information in a reliable and secure manner.
Use of the Provider Portal:
Service Providers will be given a User name and Password and this is unique and intended for the Service Provider’s use only. This information must be kept confidential, and the Service Provider must confirm their responsibility to protect the privacy and confidentiality of our clients by adhering to the strictest protocols regarding security and the use of this Provider Portal including but not limited to:
- Strict adherence to Homewood Human Solutions Privacy Policy which recognizes a shared responsibility to adhere to all legislation protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients
- Strict protection of User login details and security password
- Safe practice of logging in and out which ensures that information is being inputted in an appropriate and secure location.
User Responsibility:
These Terms give you important obligations. You agree to the following responsibilities:
- Protecting your login name and password (e.g. don’t leave your password near your computer)
- Always log out of the Provider Portal before you leave the computer; otherwise someone else could access your computer and use your active session and gain access to client files
- Do not access the Provider Portal through a public/untrusted computer (e.g. Internet Café)
- Always have current, updated, industry standard Anti-Virus software installed on your computer system
- Ensure that the same level of care is taken with access to the system as well as the client information entered into the Provider Portal as would have originally been taken with traditional paper files
Security Information:
Homewood Humans Solution uses industry standard RSA 2048-bit Security Certificate to ensure secure transmission of all information to and from the Provider Portal. Such encryption provides an extra layer of protection against login and password theft.
